Pegasus Gypsy Wanderer Bag with Royston Turquoise

This beautiful Gypsy Wanderer Bag combines the practical light weight feel of our phone pouches while providing a bit more room for those everyday essentials. 

The cross body bag is made of supple Italian leather in warm light tan. It is embellished with our signature hand carved Rearing Pegasus, hand dyed to that striking two-tone finish. The tooled design on the decorative front panel surrounds a large Royston turquoise stone displaying mesmerising sky blues. 

The back of the bag features decorative leather panel with a hand carved buffalo head, surrounded by elegant stamping and hand dyed to match. 

The hand shaped bag strap features Western floral carving to match, along with a smaller Royston turquoise. It is lined with soft leather for comfort of wearing and fastens with a stand-out three piece Western solid brass buckle. It attaches to the bag using brass clips, meaning it can be used with other bags.

The bag fastens with an elegant button. The design is rounded off with softly flowing suede side tassels and a feather clip with matching turquoise beads, naturally!

Turquoise is one of the oldest protective amulets known across the ancient world as a symbol of wealth and strength. Royston turquoise specifically comes from Nevada. It is some of the most sought-after turquoise known for its unique matrix and vibrant colours. The buffalo on the back signifies kindness, respect, and abundance.
